facility

our yard is located at the riverside of tam-sui river and nearby keelung harbor which is the largest sea port of northern taiwan. we have our own port so seatrial is very convenience. our facilities include two large temperature & humidity controlled lamination shops, machinery workshop, painting shop, launching railway, seatrial dock..., etc. our yard is approved with american bureau of shipping, bureau veritas, lloyd's & nk. the boats could be built with the certificate of your choice and the whole construction will be under their survey.

design & manufacture

tachou has designed various yachts, patrol boats, military crafts, ferries, work boats, ...etc. a series hundred footers running more than 40 knots had been developed and delivered in these years. some nominal designers are cooperated with to create unique style. the facility is capable for boat more than 130'. lamination is in air-conditioned factory certified by ship societies. scrimptm is introduced to produce lighter, stronger and higher quality.

quality control

iso-9001 was approved on dec, 2001. every ship in shipyard is supervised by a certified engineer to make sure every single piece is installed properly. qc department consisted by senior engineers will make throughout inspection at every stage. seatrial is the best way to prove the quality of a ship. holding a seatrial is very convenient in tachou because of its launching dock. most ships built here had a seatrial before delivery.
