at grand harbour yachts, we look back on a long involvement in boatbuilding. our company was founded in 1985 by b.h. gong, the driving force and founding father of some other well known names in taiwanese boatbuilding. before establishing grand harbour yachts, we had nearly two decades of experience building high quality sail and power yachts. we don't believe in churning out as many boats as possible, we run a compact operation, concentrating our skills on every vessel and making sure they are built to the highest of standards.

our in-house design and engineering team is highly qualified to incorporate our customers' ideas and wishes into the boat we are proudly building for them. customizing a boat at grand harbour entails more than just "cutting and stretching" a hull! all changes are carefully calculated and run on our sophisticated cad software, before being effected by our highly skilled and well trained craftsmen. needless to say that interior layout can be shaped according to our clients' ideas, within the limits of the basic design, of course. interior veneering, choice of wood and fabric are all up to the future owner, and we offer a wide selection of readily available materials. power or sail, our philosophy has remained unchanged - only the very best will be good enough for a grand harbour yacht! come on in and have a look at our boat pages!
